BZ901: “No Index” option not retained when pasting structure

The Problem

When using Paste Structure (or the Clippings Menu) to add or replace a view that has the "No Index" option selected, the “No Index” option in the new view is turned off.)

Workaround

After adding structure including views, switch the views to Show Setup mode and re-select the No Index option.
Scope

This bug exists in all versions of Helix as far back as Helix Express 4.5.1, and probably further. (Earlier versions were not tested.)

This bug is currently unresolved.
